Ticks, Mosquitos, and Sun Exposure are hazard as we enter Spring and throughout the Summer!  Come learn about Warm Weather Safety and how to protect yourself from Lyme disease, UVA/UVB Sun Rays, and Identify poison ivy and parsnip. Chittenden County MRC will be doing the presentation!

Chittenden County MRC is hosting a table for this second annual event in support of raising awareness of emergency preparedness for New Americans.  Talk with people about preparing for severe weather in VT and how to prepare a Go Kit in the event of evacuation.

AEMT registration deadline for the 5/20/17 exam is Wednesday, April 26, 2017.

EMT and EMR registration deadline for the 5/20/17 exam is Friday, May 5, 2017.

This National Registry practical exam will include the following levels:

EMR:  Emergency Medical Responder

EMT: Emergency Medical Technician

AEMT: Advanced Emergency Medical Technician

Students should receive exam applications from their instructors, training officers or the EMS office one month prior to the test date. Applications can also be downloaded from the Documents page on the Vermont EMS website. Candidates do not need to register with Exam Coordinators, but may seek directions from them.
