Join the MRC in practicing to setup the 20-bed portable hospital, which could be requested in an emergency for deployment.

The training will be the set-up (3 hours am) and demobilization (2.5 hours pm) of the hospital.  Set-up includes, unpacking the trailer, inflating tent, running electrical cords, installing HVAC units, setting up medical cots, placing sandbags.  Demobilization proper dismantling of equipment and repacking of trailer.

Lunch will be after the set-up ranging from 30 minutes or longer depending on timing (most likely longer lunch).  Volunteers will need to bring their own lunch or travel to nearby food venue.  Water will be provided.  Closed-toed shoes will be required.  Request MRC shirts be worn.

This is a very fun hands-on opportunity and important skill set for the members.

Members should RSVP with unit coordinator(s).
